The ILS Level Control System

Innovec have released the ILS Level Control System. The ILS is a non-contact liquid level
system with internal Broadband Modem that measures tank height from 0 to 400 Centimetres, the temperature of the tank contents and sends that information to the Innovec Internet Dashboard. The instrument also incorporates a six digit 18mm character height Liquid Crystal local display. The instrument is mounted onto the tank by 50mm male pipe coupling. On the Dashboard the user can configure the tank height and shape, the units of measure as centimetres, percent, litres or gallons, high / low set-points for alarming purposes and duration between measurements. The alarms are configured as Gmail alerts going to your desktop or mobile device. This data is also able to be downloaded as an excel file. For example, if a company is providing a chemical (such as Ad Blue and the client has a 3000 litre tank holding tank in their premises, a low-alarm has been set for 20% and when triggered will advise the client that they are in need of a refill, as they are running low.

ITS Totalising System - Advertisement in Trailer Magazine, May issue, 2016
Friday, July 08, 2016
Innovec Controls has released a new totalising system to make mobile liquid dispensing simple. The ITS has been labelled Innovation product of the month by Trailer Magazine.

In Sydney’s inner-city suburb of St Leonards lies a hive of innovation: the headquarters of Innovec Controls. Known for its quality design and manufacture of reliable process control instruments and LED safety lighting products, the company has launched the latest development in April this year, the Innovec Totalising System (ITS).

“Innovec aims to increase our customers’ productivity by providing reliable, accurate and user-friendly instruments that provide solutions with application-based designs,” says Innovec’s Robert Newman. “Our brand-new Totalising System is no different, providing a user friendly instrument at a competitive price.” Robert explains that the newly designed ITS incorporates a range of features to make tracking liquid delivery a simple task for fleets and operators, such as its 18mm backlit six-character LCD display, an industry standard flowmeter input selection, quadrature input, reverse flow detection and dual output relays. ”

“With this communication link to a tablet we can produce a real time display of liquid flow at a distance of up to 300 metres. This can all be emailed from the tablet with the receiver’s signature hand written on the tablet screen and attached as a PDF to demonstrate legal proof of delivery.”

Thanks to its ability to develop innovative solutions for niche market segments in Australia, North America, Scandinavia and Asia, Robert says Innovec Controls has earned a leading position, that he says is “is enhanced by continuously developing quality products like our new Totalising System for truck dispensing”.

ILTA – 2016 – Post-Exhibition Re-cap
Thursday, June 16, 2016

Innovec Controls had a booth at the 2016 ILTA International Liquid Terminal Association conference which took place from the 23rd until the 25th of May at the George R. Brown Convention Centre. We would like to thank all those who came to the booth to discuss applications using our products.

Our team arrived late morning on the 22nd of May after a long flight from Sydney to Dallas, and then to Houston. Last year Houston was flooded when we arrived so were pleased to see that it was drier and more temperate.

We spent a lot of our time at the exhibition discussing our IBW and the ITS truck dispensing system with Bluetooth and email. This proved to be of high interest to the companies present, as there was no other company offering similar products, and we had others at the conference commend us on the advanced communication our products were capable of delivering, as well as our ability to demonstrate this in the booth.

ILS Product Launch Press Release
Friday, June 10, 2016

Innovec have released the ILS Wi-Fi level system to the market. The ILS is a non-contact liquid level system that measures tank height from 0 to 4 metres and sends information about level height in a given tank by Wi-Fi to a central database. The supplier of the liquid is able to verify the quantity each customer has in their storage tanks, from the ease of their office, a low alarm can be set to advise the supplier by email that the minimum level has been reached.

For example, if a company is providing a chemical (such as Ad Blue; it minimises the pollution of diesel) and the client has a 3000 litre tank, if the low-alarm has been set for 20% and is triggered the client can then be contacted that they are in need of a refill, as they are running low.

This is especially vital for clients in regional areas, where a delivery truck may only come by once a week. Hence, being much more convenient for the supplier of chemical, as well as avoiding the client to pay extra money for a special delivery to their location.
