Innovec Controls Pty Ltd was founded by its principal Rob Newman in 1987 and has developed a strong reputation across a wide range of industries for Australian-designed and manufactured, reliable, accurate, user-friendly and cost-effective process control instrumentation and LED lighting that are at the forefront of innovation and technological development.

The company’s main business is the design and manufacture of electronic equipment for the public transport and process control industries in a world market. All application specific products have been designed and produced to suit a particular client need that could not be met by products currently available on the market.

Innovec’s flexibility and technical strengths are maximized in various industrial niche markets with end-users in food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, mining, public and commercial transport and rail, utilities and domestic buildings. This involves the design of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and a thorough knowledge of the latest developments in electronic componentry. Over the years, Innovec has achieved a strong reputation for design excellence and reliability in its niche markets.

Product distribution is done through a combination of resellers, interstate distributors, direct sales and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreements. International sales are achieved through established distributors, and direct sales via our web site.

Since 2000, Innovec Controls has developed high reliability LED (Light Emitting Diode) Safety Lighting for passenger and rail freight applications. Innovec is currently supplying LED safety lighting to all railway systems in Australia as well as specific international markets. The lights are environmentally-friendly, cost-effective with a long product life 20 times that of incandescent light bulbs and consume only 20% of the power, making them a clean and green alternative.

Introduced in 2010 by Innovec Controls were its LEDEL environmentally-friendly architectural, energy saving LED lighting control systems for domestic housing and buildings that offer a higher lamp lifecycle and a clean and green alternative as well as the latest Innovec digital, dash-mounted LCD back-lit fuel gauge for monitoring and warning of low fuel supply in CNG powered vehicles.

Also introduced by Innovec in 2010 in specialized flow measurement was Innovec’s IAI Additive Injection Controller to provide highly accurate blending of additives into primary liquids and fuels in tough industrial applications.
